Welcome to Pittsburgh Corning Corporation’s
Chapter 11 information home page

On April 16, 2000, Pittsburgh Corning Corporation filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  The company made this step because the Bankruptcy Code represented the only remaining legal process available to reasonably resolve its asbestos liability claims.

Pittsburgh Corning created this site to provide our claimants, creditors, and any other interested party with information concerning our Chapter 11 proceedings. This page is updated periodically with additional information related to the filing.

On May 24, 2013, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania issued a Final Order Confirming the Modified Third Amended Plan of Reorganization as Modified through August 17, 2013 and Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. 524(g), Issuing Asbestos Permanent Channeling Injunction.  To view the full court order and related memorandum opinion, Click Here.  To view the Plan documents, Click Here

For example, individual asbestos personal injury claimants can use this site to verify that PCC has included the claimant on its list of pending asbestos claims. Trade and Litigation Defense creditors can use this site to determine the amount entered by PCC on its Schedule F for each creditor.
